Prime Minister Rishi Sunak recently called for an election for the UK to happen on July 4, 2024 (USA Independence Day).

During his announcement, the podium was missing something pretty important: Her Majesty’s Royal Seal.

I've been talking about this with my wife recently.

Sometimes I know that something is out of place/important, without knowing why.

That the general election has been called for July 4th is important, somehow. I just haven't worked out why yet.

Rishi Sunak did not take office in until 2022, which was basically when Boris Johnson left office (excepting the small blip by Liz Truss).

The timing in your martial law statement would imply that Liz Truss should also not have displayed that seal.
