Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evolving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
DMSO & Mosquito Bites
Just wanted to give you an anecdotal story about my DMSO roll on.
I’ve been staying at a place that has lots of plants, so that means lots of bugs and mosquitoes. Standing water, you know. Anyway, I’ve been getting these mosquito bites, so I thought I would just roll on some of the DMSO to see how it affects mosquito bites
Well, yesterday, I had a big one on my ankle, and I used the DMSO - then waited for it to dry, added some anti-itch cream, and a few minutes later added the DMSO.
I had great results ! My mosquito bite is barely red, it’s no longer swollen, and is not itching at all. it generally takes me two or three days to make it through a mosquito bite. So this is a fantastic result.
Anyway, just wanted to share that with you all!

I use neem cream on mosquito bites. It also acts as a mosquito repellant. I discovered neem back in my early 30s when I had a shingles outbreak due to tremendous amounts of stress and unemployment. The prescription I was given was too expensive, even with insurance. I went to Sprouts and asked about what they had and the woman there told me all about neem.
thanks for the info, this will be helpful/we have a lot of mosquitos. also, I think you can ingest the DMSO? heard it was good for UTI if I remember correctly.
Yes I have both. But I haven’t started taking it orally, because I’m taking fenbendazole prophylactically. I am my own experiment, but I’ve been feeling pretty good! I’m so happy about the mosquito thing though cause I’m going to Hawaii and I’ll be there for six weeks and I just don’t like the mosquitoes there. 😬Once I get back I’m going to try the DMSO liquid
I didn't know you were taking fenbendazole. Please tell us more. How long you've been taking it, how often, where you bought it, etc. And have you noticed any changes? What are you hoping it will do for you? Thanks.
OK well I’ve been on board with this whole idea that parasites are the cause of all disease for at least 10 years. That’s when I got that book ‘cure for all disease’ by Hulda Clark. I bought a small zapper, and then I bought one of those programmable ones. People thought I was crazy years ago when I got into all this stuff. Turns out I was right. 🤷♀️ 😂😂😂
Anyway… along with the zapping, you’re supposed to do parasite cleanses orally. Something about the zapper not getting past the stomach barrier, so over the years… I have done parasite cleanses.
With the onslaught of Covid, and being one of the recipients of a really based doctor, we were able to get ivermectin from my mom when she got Covid. After that we decided to have it in stock at all times After doing more research, I decided to take it regularly - which is maybe once a month for a week. But also I do this because I’m a pet sitter, and because people are more likely to get parasites when caring for animals.
After doing a bunch of research regarding fenbendazole, a d knowing it’s a parasite drug for dogs… I thought I should start taking that too. I care for more dogs than I do cats, so I’ve just been doing some experimenting. I probably take the fenbendazole 5 times a week. To me. I feel like I’m getting better sleep, and I have a little bit more pep in my step. It’s also been proven to prevent people from getting cancer. I thought why not ??? I am also doing some experimenting with DMSO.
My best friend and I have always claimed that we will never have cancer. We are choosing to NOT have it. Whenever I go to get a mammogram, I always tell the technician I’m not going to have any cancer. They generally have an uncomfortable laugh, and roll their eyes a little bit. Whatever it takes, I’m not doing cancer. If then then Bendel is going to help with that, then I’m all for it 👏👏👏
