Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evolving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Sorry for the late response, I’ve been out of town and not here much. I haven’t heard of this source, will check it out. I eat a lot of sea salt! I keep some loose in a wood salt container by the stove and on the table. My allergies are probably still bad because I haven’t given up dairy. I can’t be sure until I stop it. In the past I’d go two months without milk and allergies were still bad. I get A2 brand milk with out hormones. For years I bought organic milk and was fooled, doesn’t matter if it’s organic it can still have hormones. I don’t eat a lot of cheese. Eat a clean brand cottage cheese. I’ve been addicted to chocolate & sugar a long time. Addiction runs back generations in my dad’s family and I know I have the gene. It’s been a real struggle to give it up. The dairy helps me get through the cravings. I might cheat every now and then with non carnivore but I can’t see ever going back to fruits and vegetables every day.
Dr Anthony Chaffee has good videos, on YouTube and Rumble. He has a lot of guest and Q&A videos. I don’t know the content on rumble. I watch on YouTube.
It's all good. I'll check out Dr Chaffee.
About the salt, depending on your container, you might consider adding magnesium to your diet. Magnesium is lost when the salt dries. Most sea salt is clumpy, which happens when the salt is wet... and sea salt is often sold in moisture-proof containers for this reason. If your salt is dry, you can add a tiny bit of Epsom salt (mostly magnesium salt) once in a while to eliminate any question of Mg deficiency.
I don't believe dairy causes allergies; I believe it flushes out pre-existing toxins. Flushing them out is good, but it doesn't feel good. Kind of like how rain doesn't cause sewage, it just moves existing garbage from where it used to hide into places where everybody sees it, and now it needs to be cleaned up. WWG1WGA, fren.
