These are actually pension funds that were contributed by the citizens of canada to provide for pensions, deducted from employees pay checks throughout their entire working careers. It is a private pension scheme! It does not belong to the Government and they have been looting it for decades through a massively bloated bureaucracy.

I have paid into CPP for fifty years and if Trudeau thinks he can try to extort me to get poisoned with the death shot or get no pension he will learn that the unvaxxed will make sure that those who steal our savings will enjoy no retirement.
Just some background on this that I thought is relevant, that Alberta has been threatening of pulling out of Canada pension plan and start their own, which they have the legal authority to do so (and historical precedence in Quebec). But Alberta puts a lot more in that they get in return compared to the other provinces so watch this pension fund crumble when Alberta pulls out as this would be severely underfunded.
