This is a nationwide issue affecting FirstNet and Verizon users.
Source: I cannot reveal my source. Sorry!
We seem to be inching closer to the "Leave the World Behind" scenario

Yep, I got several call failed notifiers.
My Patriot Mobile is working fine. Different provider but same network hardware. Stop giving money to companies that hate you.
"Because our service uses the same towers as ALL THREE of the big carriers, if you’re ever experiencing service issues, we can switch you for FREE to the service most appropriate for your area."
From their website. I considered switching years ago, but now my main internet is on Verizon also (5G Home)
If I get enough income I will switch to landline Fiber and get off 5G. Right now $25 for 300mb down is impossible to beat.
Debunked!! I just called my son - who's with Verizon. I'm with AT&T. He answered my call and called me back as well.
With AT&T but are you a first responder on their "special" isolated network making that call?
Nope - I'm a disabled nobody
Not sure if debunked...you are with AT&T...but the headline says the issue is between FirstNet (who uses ATT platform) and Verizon. If you are ATT, doesn't apply to you.
Ahhh ok! I misread that then 🙈 If nothing else, I got to talk to my son 😁

I can't get or receive calls on Verizon here in Chicago. Several but not all locations affected.

Good reason to dump AT&T and get Verizon.
IMO when the time comes both of them will go down..but our agency uses both providers due to everyone living all over our state.
Yup, I’m retired now, but our company used both and we covered 4 states. Verizon was superior in reception. Those that had AT&T, changed to Verizon. I’ve had it ever since. I tried T mobile but it sucks in my area.
Interesting. Someone I know personally experienced this a couple of days ago.
