I worked for an SES for 3 years in Washington, D.C. Worst experience of my life. I was somewhat naive back then. I couldn't believe guys like my "boss" existed. I hated going to work.
But guess what? A female pressed an EEOC complaint against him. At that point he was not "untouchable". While he wasn't "fired" in the traditional sense of the word he was stripped of his entire staff. He went from a staff of 90 to just himself. A year later he was gone - I assume he decided to "retire" at that point.

See, sometimes justice does happen! And I bet your old "boss" wasn't even responsible for the deaths of millions of people, either.
