QLED is a type of TV screen, 8k is the resolution. 4k was state of the art 2 years ago. QLED has been around at least 3-4 years.
We replaced out TV in 2020 when my old plasma screen burnt out. I remember seeing QLED for sale when we were replacing our TV, it was the new advancement over OLED.
