Worst part is we're all addicted. Even the most based people I know basically cycle through work and watching TV at home. The system is designed to keep people from using their minds.

Very true. With only a couple of exceptions, most of my acquaintances cycle through work, TV and sleep. And most also find ball games entertaining, spending several hours per week watching such games. Then spend more hours discussing those games. Ask them a question about health, politics or any world event and they'll repeat a standard response from the tell-u-vision.
