Because only at the precipice will people change. We are not there yet. Unfortunately, something bad has to happen in order for people to wake up.

It is unfortunate, but I think a mass wiping out of wealth is what it is going to take.
or… And just go with me for a second… It will take the government initiating a draft of some kind – of any kind. Go after the kids. You see how well that worked for for other groups.
That is a very good point. And one that has been in the back of my mind as my nephews and niece are of draft age. (As if forcing CV shots on their generation wasn't enough.)
Hopefully it will wipe out the debt of the people. If your bank is bankrupt and not bought out by another......
The Goal is to get the people to rise up. If the Military leads the effort, then the onus of being a Military coup will always hang over the head of the government for some other real dictator to use.
