Kind of off topic, but my father went down to a property down there. He was outside doing yard work, and got stung by something. He immediately went allergic and collapsed. Luckily, he made it to hospital before things got really bad or dead.
What is suspicious is that my father is not allergic to ANYTHING or any bugs. He's in his 70's.
At the hospital, the doctor further said something is going on. 6 people have died in the past week from allergic bug bites. Did they release something nasty?
He's double vaxxed so I'm wondering if this is part it. He never had an allergic reaction to any bug bites and he's been working outside for years. WTF?
Thoughts? Experiences?
i get bite all the time, sometimes by just a few,and i do put out fire ant queen killer but what they do is they will get all over the spot you touch by the hundreds and then they will attack at the same time, you look down and your covered in these little bastards and we all know what comes after the bites ,white puss bumps, and they do leave scars.every time i talk to my neighbour i break out in hives ,he's a Democrat.
Maybe I'm just lucky. I've been here, about 90 minutes from Shreveport, since early 2020 and have not seen (or been bitten by) one fire ant. We had some that looked like them, but my pest control guy told me they were some other species and didn't bite. Maybe it is the countless moles that dig in my yard and piss my dogs off - who dig more to get the moles. The internet says 2 things - moles don't eat fire ants, and moles eat fire ants. Who knows.
