This is along the lines of the answer I’ll give to that question, when I think of it:
In the wizard of oz, we were able to see the emerald castle, everyone knew about the wizard, we were able to see the wizard speaking, and see things that he caused to happen.
It wasn’t until the curtain was pulled back that we could actually see who the wizard was.
“They” are projecting the image of “the wizard” and “they” are behind the curtain. The curtain has not been pulled back yet. We know some names of people who work for the men behind the curtain, and possibly even some names of some of the people hiding back there, but many of the people behind the curtain we have no idea who they are. Until we do, if you have a better name for them as a group, by all means. One reason we don’t name names is because we can’t see behind the curtain, so it is often very difficult to know for sure when someone is them or working for them, and it is better to point at the shadow than to name names and be wrong.
... I’ve suspected for a while that “cabal” might be from something like “Ca Ba’al” which might maybe mean “House/People of Ba’al”. Total speculation.
Just looked it up, and one source of it is from “cabballa” or “qabbalah” which is Jewish mysticism.
Take it a step further though, and you could break it up as Qa’ba or “Kaaba” is the black freaking cube with the fallen star in it that sits in Mecca, and we all know what “Allah” is.
Elohim is plural of El. El means “god”. Israel means “He who wrestles/strives with God”.
Nothing hidden there, it’s in the verse. Genesis 32:28.
Jacob/Israel worshipped the same God as Abraham/Moses/Christians. There are a lot of people here who, for whatever reason, think “elohim” is an inherently negative term. I recommend doing more research.
I don’t claim to know much about Qabbalists, other than that Madonna practiced it and they have some very weird symbols.

If you prefer, we also call them “the cabal”.
Nice

Tied to gnosticism, freemasonry, rosicrucianism, occultism, etc, and Madonna - seems safe to classify it as “bad”.
I remember this "game" from when I was a kid:

It's the all-seeing eye. It was right in front of us all this time.
Why does that strike me as a preCURSEor to Ouija?
SUPER INNOCENT FUN!
