like I said, all of those methods and more are far more indiscriminate. someone with a gun can also shoot someone who is running away. its common in war.
so again.. are we also outlawing artillery, cruise missiles, UAVs, etc? is a sniper rifle too unfair?
ridiculous line of reasoning. keeping your troops safe is a priority. if the task can be done just as well, or better, without endangering the lives of your men, you obviously take that opportunity.

They are launched by a person. They don't launch themselves.

When you fire a rifle at an enemy, you are on the ground and subject to all the dangers as is your enemy.
You are not safe in a building many miles away behind a computer screen directing a machine to take out human beings.
