And the rate in Girls could potentially be far higher. As they found a technique that Autistic Girls seem to adopt at a higher rate than boys that’s been dubbed ‘Masking’. Where they adopt behaviors and mannerisms of what they perceive as ‘normal’ peers. To such a degree they can pass as normal under many of the current tests that can ‘identify’ Autism in Boys.
There’s also some suspicion among some. That links Undiagnosed Autism to the likelihood of a person self-identifying as Trans. The propaganda Playing off the tendencies of Autists to feel socially isolated and uncomfortable in their own skin. And leading them to believe they’ll have social acceptance and feel comfortable.
Further compounding this issue. Especially in Children and Teens. Is the normal problems and identity issues that come with a child or teen starting to explore and establish an identity of their own outside the watchful gaze and shadow of their parents.

I believe this ☝️ seeing this type of behavior in a teen granddaughter whose Mom is ADD and granddaughter is dyslexic.

I can 100% confirm this, with a teenage son, of a family close to me. I have known him for eight years (age 8-16). He is extremely socially awkward, has no friends, an uncontrollable temper, and is ridiculed by other kids. He's obviously on the spectrum, although his parents, somewhat in denial, never talk about that, other than to say "he's never been tested."
A couple of years ago, when he was entering high school, I made a comment (that I probably should have kept to myself) that there was a good chance he could be swayed toward trans, to seek acceptance from that group. Two months ago that prediction came true.
Autism is a psychiatric diagnosis comprised of arbitrary criteria. The construct of autism exists because insurance companies (and pharmaceutical) need to categorize everyone into at least one categorizable demographic. It’s a billion dollar industry, and the pharmaceutical companies need to increase psychotropic consumption in order to maximize profits. The industry gatekeepers make the diagnostic criteria convoluted and difficult so they can keep an iron grip and maintain control over their thralls. They only care about accurately modeling future expenditures.
That being said, Autism is a rich man’s diagnosis, because only rich families tend to have the time and resources to pay for a diagnosis. The mild cases are either missed or not diagnosed so as to avoid stigma.
Autism is somewhat genetic, but could also be further exacerbated by toxicity, inflammation, and problems metabolizing processed foods.
The rapid increase in diagnosis is partly attributed to the diagnostic criteria being streamlined. But also social media, and celebrities such as Dan Akroyd, and the movie Temple Grandin raising awareness.
The fact that we are deluged with forever chemicals (Teflon byproducts) and plastics, pesticides, fertilizers, growth hormones, toxic preservatives, dyes, flavor enhancers, fragrances, emulsifying agents, smoking, sugary foods, is definitely having a cumulative and detrimental effect upon the gene pool.
That is what is common. MMR vax given at around 18 months has a high rate of developing autism. Kids that waited until around age three have a minuscule rate of developing autism.

Those are old numbers.
Some estimates point toward 1 in 28 now.
