I'm just going off of memory about the JFK stuff. This happened almost 7 years ago. I really did not follow Tucker back then, nor have I seen anything that Tucker has said about this topic recently. I'm just saying that I really disliked Pompeo for several years for being Mr. Monsanto. I didn't like that Trump picked Pompeo to be a part of his administration, but then again I was also glad that it meant one less GMO shill in Congress.
EDIT: To help you understand, Twitter is blocked at work. When I made my original comment, I was at my work computer and was unable to see the Tucker clip. I was posting my opinion without seeing what Tucker said in the video.
I have no idea or info on Pompeo's connections with Monsanto, so I cannot draw any conclusions. I do think, however, that Monsanto is about as evil as Blackrock, imo. But that's a mildly uninformed opinion.
Yeah, Pompeo was big time in money from Monsanto and the Koch brothers. I had become so disillusioned with the Republicans being owned by Monsanto and how only Democrats pretended to oppose them that for a while I was prepared to grit my teeth and vote for Bernie. At the time, I only heard of Bernie opposing the TPP, which would have foisted Monsanto upon Japan where I live and allow that corporation to essentially write Japanese laws and force the country to lift its ban on GMO crops on native soil. Then Trump came along and I was relieved to see him infuriating all the right people. Later I found out that Bernie is a hypocrite and just pretends to stand up to Monsanto. Kraft, Coca Cola, and so many other food giants lobby hard to suppress consumer awareness in the USA, and Pompeo was very happy to take Monsanto's money and defend them.
Right? My hope is that he was so compromised by evil that Trump somehow liberated him, and that him asking Trump not to declass the JFK files was his "please Hammer, don't hurt 'em" moment for optics' sake. He could be a good guy whose ties were severed. I dunno. On surface level though, I don't trust him. That's all I can say about this.

Thanks for the extra info, Steve.

Wow. Gee, that's not good. Bit of an eye opener. One hopes that perhaps he's had a change of perspective since those days....
