So how do you make a lawless city govt comply with the law? Have the state send in the National guard? What if the whole frekin' state govt is not complying with the law? Send in the military? What if our law makers in Washington are not complying with the laws written? Send in the clowns? That is where we stand today.
But that's just it, this isn't passing a law prohibiting it, it's merely saying cities that have such a law can legally enforce then. Democrat run cities aren't going to pass laws to clear these shit holes and if they happen to have leftover ones from saner ages past, they'll just not enforce it or perhaps repeal it entirely.
How is being granted the authority to do something a blow to Democrat run cities that can simply choose not to exercise that authority? Is the ability to prosecute crimes a massive blow to George Soros' District Attorneys? No, because they simply don't exercise that authority unless they want to make an example of a convervative.
I'm sick of the stupid adversarial framing in these titles.
Now if it is a Dem/Commie run city what makes anyone believe that they will clean it up? We know they don't follow any laws/rules and suffer no consequences for their stupidity and lawlessness. I'll believe it when I see San Francisco, Baltimore, Detroit, and many, many more cleaned up. I do however; hope it works and they clean them up.
They won't clean them up. They WILL get an influx of the homeless that were pushed out of sane cities though. Let the left-tard cities wallow in the mess they wanted to infest the rest of us with.
I don't disagree with your statement, but the citizenry that didn't want this and are part of the cities that have it really shouldn't have to suffer. And the politicians who want all this don't even recognize anyone in their area that doesn't want it. I live in MD, in one of the counties, I know I don't want this in Baltimore City, but we kind of have it all the same. The politicians just ignore me and probably tens of people that call to complain--we get no service!
Now they actually have to DO it. We'll see.

I need to make a pie and a cake today but can't get off this site because rate of astounding news. I may have to make an emergency trip to the bakery.

Making the problem unbearable in dem cities may spark a movement from their citizens to oust the pols that created that situation.
They might clean up, but only after cleaning up pockets of tax payers first.
Yes, that is the Left's (Commie) way.
Maybe we should think this through a bit more.
If it's a Democrat-run city, that means Democrats are the Cities' Authorities.
So Democrats would be the ones to clear homeless from the streets.
But this is a "massive blow" to Democrat cities? Them being given the authority to clear homeless from the streets of their own city?
I think I'm missing something here. I'm off to read the actual ruling from the SC to see what is going on with that.
No, you're not missing anything, just more sensationalist media descriptions of things.
News outlets always have the attitude to amplify.
It won't have much effect on actual blue cities but it will give purple and red cities within blue states the ability to remove homeless camps.
More out of sight out of mind BS.
