Which A-hoe is asking for $1.87 Gas....
I want the same Price we had back in 1971, when we could fill the Tank from Empty, buy a Soda, and a pack of Cigarettes, pay with a $20.00, and still get more than a Dollar in change back....
I like to tell folks about gas price wars back in the 60's when I remember seeing gas for .179/gallon. Filling up a gas hog lead sled with leaded gas for less than $5. Who cares if you only got 10 miles a gallon. There was regular and ethyl. And ethyl were only a couple pennies more. I would settle for what I saw it for down here in the "Alamo" city in 2000. .799/gallon. A gallon of milk was way more "expensive" than gas once upon a time.
I remember when it was a big deal when gas pushed past $1.00 a gallon - the local pumps were never built to accept such ridiculously high prices... They had to "halve" the price, only to pay double at the counter, inside. Digital pumps soon appeared everywhere, later. Funny how that works.
$1.87 GAS is just a "marker" of what it cost RIGHT BEFORE Pedo-Joe was "installed"...make sense?
I get that, BUT, we have way More Sweet Crude, the stuff they make Fuels from, under our piece of the Continent than most other Countries Combined....
After Doubling and Filling up our Strategic Petroleum Reserves, we can have .40 cent per gallon gas, at the pump....
We have the Largest LNG deposits that currently exist, meaning we could ALL have Gas Stoves, and at very cheap prices....
We have absolutely Everything we NEED in order to not only Survive, but actually Thrive as a Group of Nations, called United States....
The one Main Thing we Don't Have, is a 100% Closed Borers Enforcement....
That Plus Zero Immigration and a Noninterventionist Policy, meaning 100% Isolationist Policy for 10 Years, and this place would self correct and we would ALL Prosper, and in ways we have yet to imagine....
We could come out the other side not simply a/the Worlds Super Power, but something much more towards the Tech seen in the Movie "The Fifth Element"....
OR we could mess everything up and End up in the stone Ages again, but with Guns....
