Oh my gosh. I did a little research and found this about the woman:

She is childless, but making decisions for your kids.
She has been vocal in the effort to limit federal testing requirements, to keep unqualified teachers employed.
She was elected NEA vice president on July 4, 2014, with 92% of the vote, becoming part of NEA's historic all-minority, all-female leadership team
And, she makes nearly a half million dollars a year! WTF.

Employee salaries make up a significant portion of NEA's operating expenses. NEA President Rebecca Pringle earned $495,787 during the 2022–23 reporting period, about 8.5 times more than the average public school teacher. Pringle's salary has increased by over $64,000 since becoming NEA president in 2021.

I thought she might be, but her wiki page lists a husband, Wilford Shamlin III, but if you look him up, he's a very odd-looking fellow with not much of a resume.

His LinkedIn page says he's unemployed. But, says he has several months of tax preparation experience (kek) and has written a few articles on K-6 education, primarily regarding diversity.

Could be a beard for her that is very well kept.
