What this may mean is Hunter's conviction is vacated. If special Council is unconstitutional.

That's what I don't get. Won't this invalidate Durham and Mueller and others? Unless it's something specific to how Smith was appointed?

Could be because he's supposedly just a private citizen, and private citizens can't prosecute anyone let alone a former President. Also I think Special Prosecutors have to be approved by Congress, which obviously he wasn't.

Yeah - he was never confirmed by the Senate. Garland used an expired law to appoint him on his own.

Garland should be charged, both criminally and civilly. Make him pay the US back.

That makes some sense. Durham was confirmed by Senate to serve as an attorney.

But wasn't Mueller a private citizen at the time he was appointed?
