It's because Merrick Garland just gave Jack Smith the job of Special Prosecutor.
It is a high level example of a DEI hire, Smith fails to meet the criteria for the office and Garland ignored the correct and legal way to appoint anyone into this office.
The Senate makes the rules regarding Special Counsel, not the DOJ and not some skivvy democrat. Smith and Garland have failed on every point.
Could be because he's supposedly just a private citizen, and private citizens can't prosecute anyone let alone a former President. Also I think Special Prosecutors have to be approved by Congress, which obviously he wasn't.
What this may mean is Hunter's conviction is vacated. If special Council is unconstitutional.
I think it refers to a federal employee with prior certification from Congress? If not, then Mueller was unconstitutional also.
Thing is Hunter actually broke fed law being a drug addict and lying on his 4473 form when purchasing a firearm.
In addition to the many international criminal actions.
That's what I don't get. Won't this invalidate Durham and Mueller and others? Unless it's something specific to how Smith was appointed?

Yeah - he was never confirmed by the Senate. Garland used an expired law to appoint him on his own.
Garland should be charged, both criminally and civilly. Make him pay the US back.
That makes some sense. Durham was confirmed by Senate to serve as an attorney.
But wasn't Mueller a private citizen at the time he was appointed?
