Gauges are usually removed when you're in prison. Yearick was in prison from 2016-19 and he was also in Ukraine for a prolonged period of time. There were photos on his X and FB before it started getting wiped the very day following the attempt.
Correct me if I'm wrong here, but if someone is in jail, isn't there dna on file for him/her? If so they can compare it with the dead shooter's dna. Seems like a good way to resolve the issue of whether or not the shooter is Yearick.
I think you're right. I believe they take the DNA from all felons, and if he was really in for more than a year he would be a felon. I think misdemeanor jail time ends at 1 year, although it may differ in other states.
