Trump knows what his base wants. He did not listen and went another route.
Trump knows his base is tired of the Yale types. This is the home of the Cabal.
Me personally.. I support Trump and not Vance.
Let's get through the next 4 years first. By that time. We should have a better idea who will be after Trump.
Vance isn't a typical "Yale-type" at all, and it's unfair to tar him with that brush. He is from a rough lower-middle class background, in short, an outsider. His book "Hillbilly Elegy" is about the forgotten man and woman, because that is where he comes from.
I am keeping an open mind about this pick, and the more I see the more I like it. Time will tell.
Also.. him coming up poor means nothing. The Cabal loves to create narrative storylines that they can sell to people.
Such as… “hey look! This guy is just like you so you can trust him”
I realise a lot of backstories are manufactured. I will give Vance the benefit of the doubt that his backstory is legit until I hear compelling evidence that it is not.
DJT is not a snob, and is very comfortable around working-class people (contrast this with the left who despise working-class/lower-income people). That he would choose one as VP makes me love him even more. Have we ever had a VP who is from the working-class? I honestly don't know the answer.
I am keeping an open mind. I want to hear what he has to say about it - and about many other things.
