They didn't mention the audience that got hit or their positions probably because it's inconvenient to the narrative they're trying to paint.

Yeah, I was thinking the same. The video here does go into that and they have all the rounds coming from where Crooks was shooting from.

I really haven't put any time into investigating this myself. The open second story window in that building is pretty compelling in terms of a second shooter theory.
