I feel a surge of patriotic spirit, and get teared up, to think that our American men were actually able to do this. Incredibly, they convinced nearly half of the people on this planet that we landed on the moon. Amazing.
I really need to change my name.
Where r the stars?
Shadows in different directions!
Are you talking about the shadow to the left of the flag? I think that might be from something else because there is a gap between the pole and that shadow. I came here to say the flag doesn't have a shadow.
No I was referring to the shadows of the astronaut and that of the space craft and diverging and should be parallel, light source - sun - is supposed to be 93 million miles away.
But you are right no shadow for flag!
Also quality of image is far too good for the time of the photo.
Edit: and no stars!
Yea but you can't be on the moon while the sun is out. People think those dollar store suits can actually protect against the sun's radiation lol
You are so right, they aren't parallel... I totally missed that! And no stars!!

I always wonder-whose Eagle? Was it the Reich's Eagle (it was largely their rocket engineers) or an American Eagle? Or were they, by that time, in that agency, merged?
