The protest and appeal process of the 25th would take them to long to put a new face in place, and they don't want Kamala.

Correct. The 25th amendment is a long and difficult process to remove a sitting President. This was deliberate, so that it would only be used when it was absolutely necessary. There is no way to speed it up, and no guarantee that it would be successful either.
