I read that if you stop taking statins, it might stop the memory loss, because it's a side effect of the drug. Can't remember where I read that though.
I think statins do something to the pre-frontal cortex. Those folks won't see it if you draw them a picture.

You may want to investigate coconut oil for dementia. I've read that it helps with the brain fog caused by statins.
