I get my beef from a local rancher. Grass fed AND grass finished. Lean meat with healthy fat, not the corn fed crap you get in the store. It is hard to believe that lean ground beef in the store is almost $8/lb here. We get our beef for $4/lb.
Aldi's for those that cant line up a rancher. You can get top notch for decent. We're looking at doing a half a cow in the next few months. $4.00 is cheap, even at "Hanging Weight" There is no comparison between ranch - grass fed beef to grocery store. Although, we are pretty happy with Aldi's. I live off of protein and could never be a vegetarian. Nothing beats a good steak.

When Im on a heavy beef diet, I feel so much healthier. The body just works better.
They lied about damn near everything. Even the fat from beef is much needed.
Your body takes three time longer to process & digest red meat (beef). Chicken, fish, shellfish are the way to go. Mediterranean diet works for me
