(Serious Question which needs answering)...'Now a question I would pose, and we all know the answer to it, Would they ever have dared mock Islam in a similar way. Would they ever have dreamed mocking in this gross and public way, a scene from the Qu'ran.
And as I say we all know the answer."

The Koran demands that the Islamist become violent dealing with such things. Murder, mayhem, anything to destroy the offender(s).
Christianity, on the other hand, is the opposite. But that doesn't mean we have to be doormats. We can be strong, outspoken, intolerant without being violent or harmful. We can take a stand for right vs wrong - there are other, often more effective ways, such as boycotts, preaching and teaching, prayer, etc. We leave the ultimate punishment(s) to God - and He always will do just that. (just regarding blasphemy, btw, not everyday crime)
If you are labeled as some type of -phobic, you’re doing it right.
Christianity fought against evil throughout its existence, but now they have us convinced we have to be nice and "civil" (civil as defined by them, of course).
What would Jesus do? We are to be more Christ-like, as Christians. More like Him, less like ourselves(the world). “They” don’t ask you for anything technically, God does. So when a decision comes up, who cares what “they” say…what does the Holy Spirit tell you?
I think that if refusing to fight is the way to be Christian, then there is no Christianity. The idea that only in, at most, the last 300 years we have found out how to actually be Christian is absurd to me. That simply would tell me that Christianity is no different from any other passing cultural belief. Since I believe that Christianity is much more than that, the only conclusion left is that fighting is not wrong, and we had it right before.
This is what JESUS would have done https://youtu.be/D6PVWlih2FI?t=75
LoL. Righteous anger. It’s for sure a thing. Can we all recognize the difference tho? For me, I’m not sure. Lord doesn’t want me fighting anymore. He’ll take my legs right out from under me…again. If He has to. Kinda something I’m currently going through. To long of a post for that tho. God is good. I’m thankful for His mercy and forgiveness.
Leviticus says otherwise.
Leviticus 26:7--9
7 You will hunt down your enemies. You will kill them with your swords. 8 Five of you will chase 100. And 100 of you will chase 10,000. You will kill your enemies with your swords. 9 " 'I will look with favor on you. I will give you many children and increase your numbers. And I will keep my covenant with you.
Old Testament. The new promise or new covenant is what you should be referring to, as far as action. Not saying Old Testament isn’t important to learn, but understand, Jesus changed everything as far as our relationship with the Father goes. God didn’t send His Son to die for us, just to kill people and behave how we want to. Jesus is the way. His teachings are your guide. Cherry picking scripture to fit today’s needs is dangerous imo. Vengeance is His(God’s).
We will all perish if we simply sit back and allow evil to overcome us. Evil doesn't care about our words or our boycotts. It will appeal to the lowest common denominator until there aren't enough of us left to do anything.
Walk softly and carry a big stick. Obviously we shouldn't rush to violence, but self-defense is permitted, and there comes a time when we must defend ourselves. If we never did, we'd all be Muslims right now.
For you it just comes down to one thing. Do you trust God/Jesus? Do you have faith in Him? There is your answer to all your concerns. You’re gonna perish anyways. Because of your sin, you will die, as well all will. Only those who have chosen Christ as their personal Lord and Savior will only die once. So don’t worry about what you think may happen. It’s already written what WILL happen. God wins. And those who accept God’s Son Jesus, will be accepted into Heaven. Having been washed in the blood. Thank you Jesus.
Christ said otherwise. And I love bacon.
Does Christ contradict Himself?
