So far, I can't see that you have done anything to improve your understanding of physics, except read enthusiast literature. You are just on a soapbox, upbraiding those of us who have worked with applied physics possibly longer than you have been alive. I may even have read about Tesla before you were born. If you can "think" in terms of 5 dimensions, write a book to explain how that thinking works. Do something we can look up to. Don't spend your time looking down on those that do something.
Lol. Your caution heeded my friend. First, i am an old boomer. A great deal of my sources are esoteric and thus exist as theoretical and as far as i know, yet to be proven. Other sources are leading physicists. However, and i am sure you would agree, some gaping holes left in modern physics suggest something is missing/wrong/miscalculated. For instance, no unified theory or "central dogma" or electron behavior or the absence of the forces exerted from the motion of our galaxy included an any if our calculations.
I am far from saying that we Know It All. We don't. And I consider that much of what is taken as discovery (Dark Energy, Dark Matter) is just a hobgoblin of ignorance. Actual discovery (e.g., Halton Arp's observations) are simply ignored. "String theory" is in some dispute as a theory (being unprovable or impossible to disprove). Etc. But I would expect the "forces exerted from the motion of our galaxy" to be imperceptible.
Imperceptible? Yes... so far! Consider the possibility that the earth itself (thus inhabitants) are ascending slowly out of lower vibrational 3D into a higher vibrational 4 or 5D... and by doing so, thinning the veil between them. This, if true, would provide some very high-vibrational humans (scientists++) to peek beyond our previous boundaries and in-turn harvest knowledge previously unknown to us.
If you are religious, be reminded Jesus had these abilities while in human form.
It makes an eloquent point of how a person living in 2D has no idea, no concept and very few ways to even detect the world we live in (3D)... yet, here we are, robust and thriving with all we have constructed (and our tech).
Thus, in-turn, we are limited by these same boundaries in 3D regarding the dimensions above us... yet, they are there, robust and thriving with all they have built (and their tech).
The folks in the 2D world had means to detect whether they were on a curved surface, by geometric measurements. So do we, with respect to 4D curvature. No results. Unless something is susceptible to detection, and thus to measurement, and thus to possibly technology, it is really indistinguishable from nothing.
Curves in a 2D world can only be on one flat plane since there is no such thing as up and down does not exist. A round ball could pass through the 2D world but the 2D inhabitants would only perceive the ball one slice at a time (as a flat plane) as it passed through their world.
Similarly, something akin to this happens as 5D passes through our 3D world... in that, some aspect of the 5D existence could be detected but no enough to explain exactly what it is.
Expand your thinking. Get out of the 3D contruct and think in terms of 5D. Ever read "Flatland?"

Flatland is 2D, so what is your point?
