I get what he's saying. She's always identified as Indian. He wasn't aware she had black ancestors until recently. Why is she all of the sudden embracing her black heritage when she didn't in the past?

It’s a hard sell considering she went to an HBCU and pledged AKA. Not saying it wasn’t set up that way, but it’s easily deniable because of that fact.
