It makes sense, and is refreshing and succinct. Ty!
By God blessing Abraham's seed he is saying that every nation on Earth (don't forget Ishmael) would have the opportunity to eternal life.
But it was the Jew first because they were the first nation, the ones under the old law.
I'm getting a haze of revelations right now. I say a haze because nothing concrete yet but moreso feels like "the wheels are turning" in my head. I am pondering on the dynamics between the satanic Tower of Babel, which I think is the first nation, or maybe first city, or even perhaps first "human institution" or organization,
and the structure God set up in Israel. Parallels and differences... Tower of Babel definitely triangular power structure under Nimrod. Common man likely not significant. Was Israel structured in such a way, or did it have some sort of checks and balances? Was it delinear to a degree? I wish I knew more about ancient Israel's political and religious systems but I never was too drawn to the weighty sections of scripture which went into that stuff. I found it boring when compared to the rest of scripture.
Sorry for rambling on.
And please whatever you do, don't ask me to go read Leviticus! 😆 (jk, I will if you think it's relevent)
Haha hey man sorry I've been away I was writing my lesson for this Sunday morning as I was preaching. As for the lay out of Israel's buildings there have been many archeologists that have visited there and even in the back of most bible's will have the lay out of the city as well as the Tabernacle and things like that.
If you want to know about the customs and things haha yes Leviticus is your best bet but also for a shorter more precise version of (I believe) the things you are looking for try Exodus 20 to about Exodus 26. It's Moses on Mt.Siani when God is setting up Israel as a nation and all their customary practices aong with the Tabernacle and things like that.
You mentioned the tower of babel being a triangle and wanting to look into the triangular power structure of Israel or Jerusalem for the same I failed to answer that directly as I really don't know what you mean. I hope you're doing okay and I look forward to hearing back from you!

I just meant how the power is absolute at the top (Nimrod the dictator "priest-king") and the low levels of common men have little to no power. I was curious to contrast that system, which I find to be present in the Papacy, (though with less and less direct power, yet still with great hidden power in back-room politics / influence on governments and corporations) with the system set up in ancient Israel. Things that I'm looking for are things which were put in to counter such a power structure, since fallen man is so incapable of maintaining something like that. It always ends up with satan controlling the top, and the people suffer. I am reminded of when Israel asked for a king and God essentially did the equivalent of a heavenly face-palm... "fine, go ahead. Ugh." 😂
Exodus 20 to about Exodus 26.
thank you, I'll check that out. Anything to avoid Leviticus 😆😆
Hey brother! I see what you mean! A checks and balances to prevent corruption. So normally it was always God. The book and chapter you illuded to is 1 Samuel 8 where they asked for a king and God tells them in this chapter (paraphrase) "your sons will become soldiers, commanders, and captains, your women will be cooks and your children will make armour and weapons of war and the king will take your money for tax." Then they said ,"No" and still asked for one. God told Samuel....give them a king then.
Them having a King didn't change their true king or allegience to God who is supposed to be the moral and spiritual compass for His people at all times but look how quickly they forget. I don't remember if it says in Exodus how soon after they left Egypt -after the 10 plagues and being led by a pillar of smoke and a pillar of fire and then walking through the Red Sea in dry ground that they made the golden calf. And who made it? Aaron! Who was Moses' mouth piece. And while they made the golden cow Moses was up on Mt.Siani by himself and the people were terrified of it because of the thunderings, the lightning, smoke and the noise of the trumpet (I'm guessing being blown by an angel or angels) but yeah man so all this happens and the people worship a gold cow?????
Also God put in place the home where children were to be disciplined. Even stoned to death or banished for certain actions. So before they even got to a position of power in the secular world they were supposed to be trained at home.
I know a man named Chad Ramsay who wrote a thesis which is free if you call the church he preaches at in Alabama. I tried looking him up to post here but I couldn't find it. It's a church of Christ in Alabama somewhere. does such a great job (I heard him once at a gospel meeting). Anyway sorry, it's called the Divine Institutions which are: Home, Church, and Government. He talks of the massive imbalance we have given the three and how corrupt all of them have become by people.
I ended up asking an AI for some clues, pretty satisfied with where I ended up:
Q - tell me about the power structure and form of government at the Tower of Babel under Nimrod
The Tower of Babel, a structure mentioned in the Book of Genesis, was believed to be built by Nimrod, a powerful ruler who established a kingdom in ancient Mesopotamia. Nimrod is often described as a mighty hunter and a tyrant who sought to unite people under his oppressive rule. The form of government at the Tower of Babel can be considered a dictatorship, with Nimrod holding absolute power over his subjects. The construction of the tower was a symbol of Nimrod's ambition and desire for control, as he aimed to build a monument that would reach the heavens. However, according to biblical accounts, God intervened and confused the languages of the people, leading to the dispersion of humanity and the abandonment of the tower's construction.
Q - now tell me about the power structure and form of government God set up in Israel
The power structure and form of government in ancient Israel, as established by God, can be divided into several distinct periods. Initially, Israel was governed by judges, who were chosen by God to lead and deliver the people from various threats. These judges were not hereditary rulers, but rather individuals who were divinely appointed and served for a specific period or purpose. After the judges, Israel transitioned to a monarchy, with Saul, David, and Solomon being the first kings. The kings were expected to rule according to God's laws and serve as His representatives on Earth. However, Israel eventually divided into two separate kingdoms, with the northern Kingdom of Israel and the southern Kingdom of Judah each having their own monarchs. Over time, both kingdoms fell into disobedience and were conquered by foreign powers.
Q - now contrast these forms of government (Nimrod's and God's)
Nimrod's form of government can be characterized as a dictatorship, with absolute power concentrated in the hands of a single ruler. In contrast, God's form of government in Israel was more decentralized and focused on divine guidance. Initially, Israel was led by judges who were divinely appointed and served specific purposes. The subsequent monarchy, while still centered around a single ruler, was expected to adhere to God's laws and serve as His representative. The key difference between these two forms of government is the role of divine guidance and the emphasis on moral and spiritual values, which were central to God's system but absent in Nimrod's oppressive regime.
Q - is it fair to say that a primary difference would be:
Nimrod ruled by fiat decree
Israel ruled by God's Constitution
Yes, it is fair to say that a primary difference between the forms of government under Nimrod and in ancient Israel is that Nimrod ruled by fiat decree, meaning his power was absolute and unchecked, while Israel was governed according to God's divine laws, which can be likened to a constitution. In Israel, the rulers were expected to adhere to these laws and lead the people in accordance with God's will, whereas Nimrod's rule was characterized by oppressive and self-serving decrees.
So, now we can be on the lookout for any system like this, where the leader can simply decree a thing and everyone below must follow it. I immediately think of the pope and their "papal bulls" and "infallability doctrines"
I also think about a POTUS and "Executive Orders"... a POTUS cannot make laws, and yet he can, in essence.....
Not to mention the secretive intel agencies who basically do whatever they want and are unaccountable to the people. "The ends justify the means"
It makes sense, and is refreshing and succinct. Ty!

I hope this maybe helps a bit if any at all.
I'll check into that thesis, ty!
