The maintenance tasks alone are not easy. It’s not a Honda civic, takes substantial work and qualified people to just get it in the air, then once it’s on the ground to confirm it’s airworthy again.
They’ll fuck it up themselves before the first engagement.
Which is why we've spent the last year training their pilots and maintenance crews how to fly and repair them, all on the U S. Taxpayer's fine, to boot. It took 9 months just to get their pilots qualed enough just to dogfight our instructors, they were that bad at flying.
I have a feeling some Russian MIG fighters will be getting some awards for shoot downs.
Russian oolongs have been flying MIGS and Sukovs for years.
I wonder if they hire the pilots using DEI criteria.
How many ground service hours needed to maintain between flights. Is it as bad as the Apaches?
