Interesting move. Why XRP?
It’s intended for banks as the new system of value transfer. Low cost, instantaneous payment settlement. They want all of it out of retail/normal people’s hands.
Bought some yesterday
Indeed: control.
Oh don't ask me. I have no idea.
Ripple will release their own stable coin before the end of the year They are tied into all central banks, the IMF, WEF, making all the CBDC’s, BRICS will use them, the U.S. government chose them, they are on the board of the faster payments council, when it comes to financial, u name it Ripple is involved and leading the way. There is only 1 crypto with legal clarity in the United States and XRP is it, Not bitcoin and not etherium. Only 2 coins are mentioned by the WEF and IMF - XRP and their little sister XLM. This is only a fraction of Ripple and XRP. Go to google and type in world’s bridge currency. I tell people all the time Ripple is a private company so u can’t buy stock in them, but if I was to tell u to look a company up and research them, Ripple would be that company.
Thank you. I think you were the one who clued me into it. I did look. I purchased some and it was very sad for a while. I was losing money but I just held on to it. I have both.
It is the only universally hated crypto by bitcoin and etherium maxies because like mitmont123 states it does what it was designed to do perfectly. You were never supposed to own it though
It is also ISO20022 compliant and the BIS just stated they will implement and use their new stable coin, so they already know it will meet MiCA requirements
Problem is, Ripple technology is a big part of the new digital economy which is horrifying and monumentally dangerous and bad for us.
Since we can’t stop it and it will happen, might as well make money off of it.
I’m not sure you’ll make money owning it. If I recall correctly, it’s supposed to maintain parity with the dollar and the private company controlling it can issue more whenever it wants to.
That's why I have both XRP and XLM and also BTC and ETH.
Why are you buying Ripple if you see it linked to central banks, CBDCs etc? You're playing with fire. Gold will sink the fed. Ripple is certainly no gold. Did you listen to 45s speech in Nashville? I mean really listen? He made it clear that he wanted to stockpile Bitcoin, he didn't say XRP. Listen to Michael Saylor if you don't understand how BTC is different to all the others.
Yes, I know what bitcoin is, tether is not a stable coin per MiCA. When tether falls, so will bitcoin
Bitcoin was the pilot, it is for u and me to play with to get used to digital, we know the 4 people that created bitcoin. Yes 4 people.
Blackrock now controls bitcoin
I know what trump said,
I hope everyone makes money on bitcoin I truly do, it will make it past the destruction, but 90 percent of crypto will not. If it does not have utility it will be smashed. The governments will not allow ways for us to move money without paying the piper. When the government started the gold standard they yanked gold from the public. U don’t think they’ll do it with bitcoin, I did my homework, I good work what I have.
When this digital prison closes we are all screwed, so we will do the best we can before then, good luck on what u got, I am stacking silver, cheap and easy to barter with.
The ONLY thing that really pisses me off in our movement is all those that EQUATE crypto ownership with drug and child trafficking as if fiat currency wasn,t used before for the same. BUT according to these people bitcoin was created by the CIA. SO who devised this totally F.... up FIAT system? Guess I dont suffer fools too well lately.
Why would Obama need to send crates of cash instead of bunch of crypto?
GOOD POINT! Because cash is good crypto bad?
Crypto and cash both good but not the cash as of right now.
Maybe because the crypto he would've had to use can be tracked - from the US and between Iran and whichever country they traded it with.
It can go thru several nodes and you cannot track it.
Supposedly Monero can't be tracked (but who really knows what is possible with the right software or hardware). You or I might not be able to track BTC if masked well enough, but a 1st world nation-state could do it fairly easily.
I know if I was the leader of Iran and was making a deal with the US there is zero chance I would use anything digital.
I can also tell you they can track cash with the serial number. How about gold bars? That works for me. LOL

kek
LOL
Of course you can always melt the gold bars into your own bars. I never understood the whole serial number thing. I guess it might catch some amateurs, but Iran probably would've had it melted and re-molded before our plane ever got back to the states.
Exactly.
I am not a financial expert. But it seems to me the ultimate proof of a crypto's value is it's USAGE. If I own a trillion shares of "crypto WXYZ" and no one is USING it, the value is based solely on fantasy and can change on a whim. No one has better plans, legal clarity and connections for usage in the near future than XRP. This of course is still speculative, but IMHO the price of XRP at the present time is the deal of the century. That's why I purchased a small amount of XRP and XLM, with a small amount of money. I'm not hurt if it goes nowhere, but it has monstrous potential. PLEASE CONDUCT YOUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE!
Of course, I always conduct my own research. Thanks.
Understood. Just a little CYA on my part.
I know
You do? I was surprised myself.
