It was asked at a press conference. Instead of issuing a full-throated disavowal, which would have completely snuffed out the Q movement forever on the spot, Trump said "I don't know, but I hear they're very nice people, they love Trump, they love America."
So instead of answering the media's question about who is behind the operation, Trump flipped it to talk about the Q students. Clever! Totally proves Q and Trump were working together, or he'd have disavowed.
