This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.

I wonder if David Zaslav, current head of WBD, is on our side.
Controlled demolition of media empires?
Remember when the confusion started? Discovery, Science, NatGeo, History etc channels suddenly got their chocolate in each other's peanut butter and simultaneously ruined every channel with udder confusion and questionable content, until everything was a big chaotic mess, like brown foreigners being dumped into limey countries... Like that you mean?
Hey - yanno... whatever flies in the face of God. Whatever the opposite of truth, organization, kindness, right living they can mirror, twist, pervert/adulterate/sexualize/obscure/distort - Right?

EVerything is undergoing controlled demolition. It does not mean the puppet leaders are all on our side or doing it for the right reason. Some might be, but some are simply manipulated into demolishing themselves.
Fair enough. It's just that David Zaslav seems particularly aggressive in his demolition, seeing as he just shifted nine billion dollars of debt onto Cartoon Network, the same tactic that killed Toys'R'Us, a store I still miss.
Maybe I just never grew up.
(Correction: They actually overvalued their networks by $10 billion, thus resulting in a $9.1 billion loss. Still scummy, though.)
