Couldn't the first three shots have been from the window directly behind crooks...same line of sight? They sounded way different than the next 5 shots.

or, as a new theory I have seen says, hidden under the Crooks roof but above the office ceiling spaces and shooting through a vent.

This came from a recent Chris Martensen second shooter position analysis video

That observation has been demonstrated by anons and explained on the Legally Armed America youtube channel
