Antibiotics kill parasites?
I don't know if they kill parasites, but there are some theories of health where killing gut bacteria might be good. Namely, Ray Peat.
In his theories, all gut bacteria are bad, there are just very bad or mildly bad. Most animals don't have gut bacteria. The "good" bacteria still contain LPS or endotoxin, and when die, if you gut is permeable, some of the endotoxin makes it into the blood.
Man, so much conflicting information. I can't wait till WHs end the corruption in the Medical Industrial Complex and we get real data.
I agree.
I do wonder if Ray Peat won't get vindicated a fair bit once white hats end university corruption, since so much of his stuff is what everyone thought before around the 50s or 60s.
am sorry to tell you that most animals do have a gut microbiome, so do water fowl. If you feed ducklings a mash that contains antibiotics, for chicks, they will die within a week. If you removed all the bacteria from your gut, you would be very very sick . We are full of good bacteria, it's our first line of defense against bad bacteria, virus, and fungus. The first symptom of strong antibiotics are being prone to yeast infections.
I think he's a little bit short of the mark. See Dr Williams, author of Super Gut, he's been on Epoch TV and other places, and has the science collected from international sources and his own studies about the importance of proper balance of good gut bacteria strains, and the huge differences they make in our health. He was a surgeon who gave up his practice because surgery doesn't solve the root causes.
No. We have products that treat parasites very effectively w/o the gut damage of antibiotics. Per usual, doctors can’t treat jack shit w/o an mri.
Yeah certain ones do for certain parasites. Some parasites are worms or protozoa or larva and they can infect different parts of the body in different life stages, so not all of them can be killed that way. It was before I knew about ivermectin or I would've just taken that because it works on what I had (protozoa) and has less side effects than antibiotics.
And once antibiotics have wiped out bacteria good and bad in one's guts, replenishing the good bacteria is critical for optimal health.
not a wook myself but I eork
