In addition tetanus only occurs underground on rusty metal. You never need more than one tetanus shot in your life. When my doctor asks when was my last tetanus shot, I just smile at him and say I'm not getting one. In the past couple years I swear the doctors know we are on to them and the truth about vaccines.
It's not from rust. It's in animal feces (and dirty needles) and if the wou d bleeds you are good or use peroxide as tetanus doesn't survive the oxygenation.
So if you step on a rusty nail, it doesn’t bleed because the nail is deeply imbedded so there’s no oxygen reaching it.
But if you get a light scrape with a rusty nail and bleed you’re good. Right?
Yep. But rust doesn't give you tetanus. Now if that rusty nail is in your barn lot covered in cow or horse manure then maybe. But even of that's the scenario it takes several weeks for the shot to "make you immune" and you'd be dead from tetanus long before that. What is actually needed then is the immunoglobulin. Not a jab!! .
Thank you! I always thought the rust was to blame.
Good to know. Thanks.
