I researched it once, how many time in actual combat real soldiers or marines actually fire their weapons in full auto mode. The answer I gleaned was almost never. Full auto mode was very inaccurate with poor shot placement, and waste of ammo. Almost all the time, real warriors used their weapon in single shot mode, (not even three round burst mode)
I should have saved article. Maybe I will look for it again.
That was almost certainly because of issues with maintenance, ammo, etc. Stuff that's long since been resolved with the M4 / M16.
Yes; when the M16 first came out, it had some teething issues, but again; almost all of it was due to improper or poor cleaning, maybe magazine problems, and the fact that the military did some sort of ammo change, without fully realizing / testing the impact on real world M16's.
what about blue jean belt loops?

IIRC ----- a 3 round burst is the desired setting
When we had to carry 12 to 18 20 rd mags we certainly we were concermed to conserve rounds.
Also a lot of jams on full auto when I was in during the 70s.

FKNG AWESOME RIGHT THERE
Not fake ---- one of my kids can do this quite well.
You have to aim from the hip ----- and have extra money to spend on ammo.
I'd love to see that done with a belt-fed rifle! And explosive rounds, why not 😁😁
Belt-Fed, using Belt Loop? Funny!
Belt loops will now be banned because they are machine guns. Thanks a lot. Kek
Bump loops?
I'm gonna have to manufacture an 18"-24" optics riser for better accuracy....kek
