Yes, POTUS said in he Rally 2 days ago, "Someone allowed the Russians access to our missile technology and that's why they are 2 generations ahead of us because it was our technology."
Someone near the stage yelled out, "Bill Clinton!" and POTUS laughed then smiled and said, "maybe".
The top ten list of the greatest criminals in American history is a group of DC politicians and Capone is not in the top 20. For My money (that he stole) obama is #1.
Russia isn't "two generations" ahead of us in any technology, be it "civilian" or "military based." If it's public knowledge that hypersonci missiles exist, it's because the U.S. has had them for at least 20 yrs already, and has perfected said system for at least half that time.
This subject is low hanging fruit for the neocon-esque in DC to harp about as a reason why "muh 'Merica is weak."
Also, we were working on hypersonic missiles at Pax River, MD test facility and China Lake test facility in the late 90's to early 00's. I was a Naval Aviation Ordnanceman back then, before I went to EOD and remember seeing the messages coming from both facilities about the progress of that weapons system. We were also already flying tests on some laser weapons during that time. Some of those messages came with videos we were told to watch of upcoming technologies to be prepared to train on.
I can assure you, once messages start coming out about training and development of forces, along with test videos (which means it's been declassed out of TS-SCII), the military has had working systems for 10-15 yrs. By the time the Gen public learns of them, those systems are already being produced at a manufacturing plant, or soon will be.
that article does not mention hypersonics, nor Dark Eagle, nor Resolute, nor BMC2ISR
In order to test the Dark Eagle's launch capabilities, the Resolute Hunter 24-2 exercise was held at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington, in late June. Resolute Hunter 24-2 is the US Department of Defense's only BMC2ISR-class special exercise.
dems have been transferring US tech to the enemy since the '40s. They just look to do it in a way that won't blow back on them during election season.
Clinton sent china a modern spyplane. I grew up on base with guys stationed and assigned on the RC's. The moment the chink clipped the wing, that plane was supposed to turn around and head back, and if it couldn't, it was supposed to fly as far as it could towards the nearest friendly air base, and ditch as far away from the chinese coast as easonably possible under the circumstances. Regardless of where it ended up, there is a specific protocol for destroying all the equipment in the plane to prevent capture. Which every aircrew is trained on. Which wasn't done. Which means this crew was specifically selected before the flight, to get forced down, to not follow protocol, and allow the chinks to analyze every nut and bolt, before they returned the plane. In little boxes. No telling what he did with the laundered 100k campaign contribution afterwards ...
Osama didn't have the luxury of a regional conflict or international incident to hide the tech transfer. He had to use the spy game to make good on his paid obligation. That's the only difference.
I stopped the transfer of NASP hypersonic technology back in ‘96. After starting our military program. The US government was given it on a silver platter. But they did everything they could to screw up the effort until the Russians claimed a hypersonic weapon.
As a matter of curiosity, do you people think the US is the only technically capable nation in this world?
And every advance has to come from here?
If so, why?
You see, I'm a retired engineer, and I've worked with engineers from virtually everywhere, being in control systems. I have NOT found it to be accurate that those from other countries are less capable, save the few that are/were under control of EU/UN educational standards.
Every Russian engineer (white Russians, all) has been very competent and innovative. All of them.

...compelling addendum, nicely stated and framed...
Russia is way ahead in Scalar Electromagnetic weapons, they have been developing them since the 1940's.

Of course he did.
It's not like he had a regional 'incident' he could 'accidently lose' intact American tech ...
Hainan Island incident

So I doubt ths story.

...precisely...
Clinton server
It was not stolen it was sold!!!
...you have a firm grasp of the situational reality...
And Hussein made sure Iranians got drone tech by "accidentally" downing a reaper drone on their territory.

...intelligence is no respecter of race or borders...
Yes it is. All you need do is a bit of research on that.
...I am not smart enough...
