Path of least resistance. The poor or somewhat poor don't have the means to protect themselves and must rely on the system for protection. If an illegal tried to commit a crime in an upper middle-class neighborhood, they'd be shot dead on site if they get caught. This is why they're targeting über Liberal conclaves like Aurora, CO and the poor-ish areas of Ohio.

The reason why the illegals act like they do. They come from extremely poor areas.
You cannot take extreme poor and mix them with any stablized country. It just won't work.
