Congratulations!
And here's some unsolicited advice...
For the first few months babies can't see color and when they start developing the ability to see color they see yellow and red. Blue comes later.
In the morning open the windows and blinds. Let the yellow light in. Talk loudly. Play music.
Get yourself a blue light bulb. When the little one wakes up in middle of the night only turn on the blue light. Keep it very quiet. No talking or singing and definitely none of that ssssshhhhhh - sssssshhhhhh noise. Do the diaper change. Feed her in silence.
In a couple weeks she should have her day and night schedules aligned with yours.
This worked for my daughter. It didn't work for my son who came later but we later found out he is autistic. I don't know if that's the reason but maybe it just doesn't work for everybody.
Go get some sleep.
Wear the PVS-15 night vision goggles you’re required to buy to fix the baby’s sleep schedule you say doctor?
Kek!
No. Just a blue light bulb.
And there's no way I am not picking up a crying baby to cuddle and comfort. First thing these little ones learn is trust. Thank goodness mothers' instincts override advice.
Of course you pick up the baby and comfort her. Just no yellow lights and no noise.
