I believe the Depp state has it's roots in the tammany hall s.political machine scandal from years ago. Tammany was never eradicated, boss tweed was quietly replaced and his position lives on. Prove me wrong...

It’s older than that. Can trace it through several countries for 400-500 years fairly easily. Nonzero chance that it’s thousands of years old. Tammany Hall was probably one of their operations though.
