"I will give you the lowest taxes, the lowest energy costs, the lowest regulatory burden, and free access to the best and biggest market on the planet— but ONLY if you make your product here in America and hire American workers for the job."
"If you DON’T make your product here, then you will have to pay a very substantial tariff when you send your product into the United States."
My only concern is regulator exists for a reason. Glass-Segall act, or 2008 recession? Some environmental protections, or heavy metal waste in our rivers?
Corporations unchecked are the same as governments unchecked: pure abuse by human nature.
I would ask President Trump to please concider this, totally agree but this must be implemented in phases. Due to the low cost of foriegn labor we have completely lost our tier 2 and 3 suppliers. Every manufacture sans a couple of select few use sub components from other countries. We need those to come back ASAP before the big names. That would build a robust foundation for a vertically integrated supply chain within our own borders whilst reducing logistics and material cost (if all are local.) Source me, blah blah supply chain big title blah blah.

I agree. Otherwise we can approach pollution and other problems by using massive class action lawsuits.
Very sweet and simple! Anyone who disagrees with this is a Simpleton.
Good. That's the kind of President I want.

A President not selling America.
Boss!
Tariffs are the way to go. Historically, they have always ushered in an era of prosperity.
What I hear: "Jobs! Jobs! Jobs!"
