Leave America; Move to Palestine.
Oh that would be good. I'll send him to Haiti, closer.
OK, so I don't keep up with pop-culture or celebrities so I don't know who Mackelmore is, nor do I know what he / she / it said in regards to Palestine. What "two words" are being referenced here, and what was said?
As someone also out of the loop. Mackelmore isn't a fish, but a rapper. Which make them slightly less useful or intelligent as a fish, but moving on.
In this festival of love and peace he apparently shouted, or rapped.. "Fuck Amer.....".... as one almost Pavlovianly will do at festivals of peace.
So this fella, in America, at a festival of peace, screamed F-the place he was at, and is no shocked - SHOCKED - that the people are outraged.
Entitlement.
The notion that people can do/say anything without repercussions, and if repercussions happen - they claim victim status. I'd almost expect a tiny hat on the fella...
Thank you, a very cogent response. Yup, I had no idea who that was, and really don't care to know more about him now. I still live in my Classical Western Civilization bubble (music, literature, culture) and try my best to ignore pop icons like that.
You're right about how these people seem to live frictionless lives, lifted up by adoring fans and agents to believe they can escape the consequences of life... until they have to face the consequences of life, and it shocks them. Sort of like Prince Andrew, believing himself to be untouchable, until he touched an underage girl and was indeed "touched" himself in the media and exiled by his own royal family.
Ah well, I do believe more and more will be revealed in the coming months.
Here is a bit of Classical Western Civilization that you may not be aware of. LYLE MAYS - ALASKAN SUITE: INVOCATION & ASCENT performed by Primuz Chamber Orchestra. 13 minutes.

By the way, I'm letting that play in the background as I browse the web this morning.
Here is another: First Circle (4K) - Pat Metheny/Lyle Mays | FSU Percussion Ensemble https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tys1ie0yJzw
In the 90's Pat Metheny Group started publishing their scores which makes all of these excellent covers possible. Bob Curnow has two albums out of Big Band PMG covers that is also worth a listen.
H.mmm, there's something ethereal about that, but also primitive, probably because it's mostly percussion instruments. Nice, thank you for sharing that.
I'm off to engage the day now and will be offline until this evening.
Nice chat.
One last thing, I've been listening to this little oddball piece since last night. It's classified under "Blues" but it's one of the most highly syncopated pieces I've heard in years.

Nice. Thanks, I was unaware of Moondog. Listening to Witch of Endor now.
Oh, that's nice! I think that one of the great gifts to the world from Western Civilization is the symphony orchestra. My favorite go-to places when I'm feeling melancholy are the 1st and 2nd Piano Concertos by Chopin.
Dumb idiot did not learn from Bud Light

If you dont know Mcclemore this is his most famous song. The main video has almost 2 billion views. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QK8mJJJvaes
Thank you. Not my cup of tea.
Bye @Mack
And we say
NO.
Bye bye
Yes.
You literally watch their careers disappear :) Excellent, fucking piece of shit
Amen.
Creep
Good name for him.
I doubt there are many Macklemore fans that are trump supporters. He has managed a career with one hit and has to prop up the rainbow to stay relevant.
Aah, trying to stay relevant
Yep- must be tough.😎
Piece of shit.
apology not accepted? LOL
I accept his apology. That being said, I don't care or will listen to his music, personal taste.
I dont know the guy's politics but in reading the context of the event and the US relationship with Israel "FUCK AMERICA" could easily be construed as FK the US War Mongering Deep State.
Hey it could be but stupid to do it that way.
What do you mean?
Your explanation could be true but to do it onstage like that in America is wholly stupid.
Probably should say that, then.
