.by the time Buckingham/Nicks showed up, I had lost interest in them.
Hear hear.
The effort to PR-push their romance was such a blatant coverup of the self-destructive behavior typical in the recording industry (which was affecting that band's members bigtime)...that was causing damage to so many musicians/band members.
I always feel a slight chill reflecting on how many people have been coached systematically to reflect nostalgically on popular music from the '50s on. It is to be considered the "soundtrack of their lives," but those producing it were such degenerates, finding/promoting and destroying the entertainers they literally treated as slaves. And coaching the young and innocent to align with that, and behave that way.
Had a friend whose dream was to be a recording engineer. He made it happen. He left after about two years, seeing what went on inside the big recording studios.
And now these celebrities are trotted out with social, philosophical, political, etc. pronouncements...as though they know anything about anything other than being a cog rewarded by evildoers for doing evil.
Remember how Ian Stewart got passed over as the pianist/keyboardist for The Rolling Stones because, despite his incredible music talent, he was a "square" guy, a family man, who refused drugs and alcohol and sexual degeneracy, and wore polo shirts, and when the band was off whoring and self-destroying, he was looking for whatever the best local golf courses were? Recording studio pronounced him presenting "the wrong image."
Sex, drugs, and rock and roll. The hippy movement was a psyop against the American people and this nation. So were most of the ism's they have pushed. It all started in the early sixties right along with the changes to the immigration act. I don't think those two events were a coincidence. I think that was when "their" war on America began in earnest although they were at work long before the sixties.
...Christine was Fleetwood Mac...
Um.
Yeah?
And what band did Stevie Nicks screech over?
:^>
...I was a Fleetwood Mac listener from the Peter Green days..
...by the time Buckingham/Nicks showed up, I had lost interest in them.
...Christine will always have a soft spot in my heart...
Hear hear.
