Our cats love butter, but I don't let them have any even though I use Irish Kerry Gold Butter. When I'm cooking they pace back and forth in the the kitchen. 😸
Kinda crazy. Never knew this until our orange tabby after having him for years suddenly started pulling the butter off the counter. Even butter left in measuring cup would have claw marks in it the morning after.
Strange how we left butter on the counter for years and suddenly he got into it. Don’t blame him…salty sweet natural goodness.
Yes...maybe he started craving it because his body needs some nutrient? I think it's because butter just smells so yummy! Looked it up and says it can cause pancreatitis...too fatty for them .That is curious...🤔
We have a pale yellow tabby...he looks like beach sand so we named him Sandy.
Due to this, I highly encourage people to use article titles for their post titles. Search for the main word(s) in the title and it should pop up. Also, avoid posting old news. If it is 2 or 3 days old it is likely old news.
Also why it's good practice that when posting a link to a video or article keep the title of it the same so it's easier to search for duplicates. Nothing wrong with adding your comments to the end of the title but a lot of dupes seem to happen when the title of what is linked to is not used so search ends up missing it entirely and we then see the same "BREAKING" news 3 times in a single hour.
I try to search the article title and the main key words. Then I take a moment to check the stickies and scan the new posts. With that being said, I still post a duplicate from time to time.
I can't tell you how many times I've been ready to post something super Juicy, only to do a search (making sure NOT to include any trailing spaces!!!) and it's already been posted.
If you think you're hot shit harvesting links from new aggregators or the chans, chances are pretty good somebody beat you to it.
If you've got a 100% original post - which is rare - you should still do a search and check the dates it was posted.
I was good last time I posted something that would be duplicate I re-scanned for New and saw there was one minutes before hand, Right as I had my virgin link post posted, I happily subsequently deleted my post in ~1minute after posting. Also, One of my last unknowingly duplicate posts was deemed as a duplicate even though it was a different perspective/sauce than the only one before it and many other pastas were allowed to stay afterward which I didn’t mind but just thought I’d say.
But on a sidenote how do I get in touch with mods? I have a few questions about other personal issues?

UP vote for "metric shit ton."
Just for the info, a metric ton is 2204.623 pounds. That's a lot of shit.
That’s a lot of tonnage, a shit ton! 🤭
Yeah, we’re gonna have to dock you .5 for your use of the European communist metric scale Director Wray.
It wasn't me, I swear!

Our u/mods rock! ✨🍿
The search function is poop, there are times when it won't find a post from yesterday, much less a 3 or 4 days ago.
You truly aren't wrong.
PSA to all, not u/Physics76 specifically.

We’re lucky if we even get 9-10 posts per hour as it is. 🤷♀️

He loves his popcorn...
Search works half the time for me. Not sure what you expect from people.
OKay, but how much is that in a REAL measuring system?
Say, hogsheads per furlong.
:^>

it’s to be expected… Since so many long time users have left this platform, interaction is at an all-time low. I see the trends throughout the day. 😞
There used to be so many more people here
Yes...I miss some frens that have left
