Anytime you hear these "get ready for a big drop" announcements, they're actually meant as a "dog whistle" for those involved to pay up to make it go away. It's a shakedown tactic, plain and simple.
That is more specifically aimed at government primarily. If an attorney releases this information when they're not supposed to, that could seriously hinder their case. Government should be moving much faster on this, including judges.
