My dear family in Christ, one of our family members seems to be succumbing to a lot of darkness. Dealing with issues with a lot of alcohol and marriage is hurting. I ask for your prayers that his heart be uplifted to the Lord Jesus Christ so that His precious blood may cleanse and renew our dear brother in Christ. Name is Sam if you could please pray.

I thought I had lost God, or that He had abandoned me, back in my drinking years. But I sought out AA, worked the program, found a spiritual way of living, and found that God was there all along... I had abandoned Him, not the other way around.
I pray for your family, but with 36 years of sobriety, I can recommend AA as a new way of living. Pass that along to him, please. We are everywhere, and I'm willing to bet there are meetings in his area, and I further predict that he will be welcomed with open arms and people willing to help.
