Doesn’t Elon need lithium for his Tesla cars? He is trying to get Starlink to the survivors and people helping, but doesn’t he ultimately benefit from people being displaced so the lithium mine can go forward? Seems suspect to me.

Both him and RFK Jr are of questionable history. Like you, I am very slow to trust. As should be. Here, you need to be prepared to take a brow beating just for questioning these instant heros that have been served up to us. If you want to control people, tell them what they are desperate to hear. Foundation for many, if not all, cults. I'm going with Q on this one. Careful who you follow.

Don't get me wrong. I certainly haven't ruled either of them out as on our side. It's just going to have to progress much further before any of them clear the guard at my gate.

I'm with you Wit's End. RFK jr. is great for medical freedom, and good on many environmental issues, but is still a collectivist in many ways. Musk stands up for freedom of speech much of the time, but is no Benjamin Franklin, and his transhumanism fetish is troubling.
