The only reason why they didn't steer the hurricane over Texas is because Ken Paxton would have sued the living daylights out of the feds. Besides, if they did not mess with Hurricane Helene, it would have exited the United States through Savannah as a tropical depression after making landfall in Florida as a tropical storm.
On September 11th 2001 Hurricane Erin was directed by power plants being powered up sequentially from west to east across the country, creating a stream in the atmosphere moving to the east in order to deflect the hurricane away from Manhattan and prevent it from impacting the days planned events. Satellite images at the time showed this clearly.
Imagine, a giant hurricane just off the coast of Long Island and none of the news was reporting on it. I wonder why that could be. Do you remember the news anchors saying, "it's a beautiful day in New York?"
